Yes. 2. What is the ADDnCLICK Shared Window/Room? These are areas that appear and are shared on each user’s computers at the time that they are linked together. User’s can drag and drop content into these areas, and other users can click onto those content files and experience them too. The Shared Window is a window where users can interact with other users. 3. How do I open such shared room? Once you have the software installed you simply launch a browser and move the mouse around the page. The ADDnCLICK logo will appear above any content. You simply click that icon and a ADDnCLICK shared room will open. You can then interact with other users in that room. 4. Who will I meet in the ADDnCLICK Shared Window/Environment? And what is that like? You will be able to meet anyone around the world who is engaged in content that is similar to what you are engaged in. All you have to do is click onto any content that has an ADDnCLICK logo appear on it, and you will be linked to others who are online and engaged in the same/similar content. You will be able to communicate with these other people by text messaging, voice and/or video conference. 5. What computer hardware do I need for ADDnCLICK? Any type of PC with minumum Windows XP or an Apple computer with minimum MacOS X 10.4 that have the most current Firefox or Internet Explorer browsers installed. 6. How do I change my personal information? Go to the Home Page, login and click onto Edit Profile. 7. Will my firewall prevent me from using ADDnCLICK? ADDnCLICK is built on standard web technologies so it should work with any standard firewall. 8. Will the ADDnCLICK logo appears everything that is clickable on a webpage? Yes. Please click on the subject or content that is of interest to you. 9. Do I have to be registered to use ADDnCLICK? To interact with other users YES. However you can browse through the ADDnCLICK portal also without registering. 10. Why was my message deleted? A message will be deleted when it is marked by other users as inappropriate. 11. What are notifications & invitations? By using invitations you can invite other of your friends to join the same room as you are in. By using notifiications you can request to be notified when somebody enters that room without necessarily waiting in that room. |
